Steward Medical Group is recruiting a BC Thoracic Surgeon to join the team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join SMG's growing Regional Thoracic Program based out of St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. The Division of Thoracic Surgery, under the leadership of Virginia R. Litle, MD, is an expanding group providing a full array of services, including minimally invasive (thoracoscopic and robotic) approaches to lung, foregut and mediastinal pathologies, multi-disciplinary management of advanced thoracic malignancies and airway surgery. Coverage includes both hospital and outpatient populations. Applicant must be Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery. This position features a faculty appointment at Boston University School of Medicine commensurate with background. The practice will include education of general surgery residents and clinical care across the Eastern Massachusetts region include operating at the tertiary/quaternary hospital St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, MA.
