JOB TITLE (): Nurse Manager - New York, NY Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in a Primary Care setting Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Nurse Manager to fill an opening with a health center located in New York, New York. Requirements of the Nurse Manager: Must have an NYS Licensed Registered Nurse with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a Primary Care setting (clinic or community health center is preferred).

Must have demonstrated a track record of organization, focus, and ability to work in a fast-paced clinic. Must have proficiency in the use of medical databases and computer literacy in a Microsoft environment (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet navigational skills). Must have strong familiarity with quality assurance guidelines and applications, Must have experience managing laboratory ordering, reconciliation, and reports Must have the ability to work independently and in a team structure, and Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

Must be assertive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have working experience with electronic medical records software (eClinical Works preferred). Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.

Benefits of the Nurse Manager: The salary for this position is $115,000 - $125,000/yr Benefits are competitive and negotiable Schedule of the Nurse Manager: This is a Full-time position Flexible beyond a 40-hour workweek May include working on Saturday hours of operation Position requires travel to the company's network of facilities as needed Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager: Recruit, train, and supervise all clinical and support staff for the medical departments, including laboratory and specialty services (herein referred to as clinical services). Oversee all daily operations with the department, including but not limited to nursing assignments, ordering medical equipment and supplies, emergency equipment, adherence to OSHA guidelines, availability of patient educational materials, etc. Oversee laboratory orders including the monthly reconciliation of tests ordered and received; Assist CMO in organizing, coordinating, implementing, and participating in quality assurance and clinical meetings; prepare QA and CQI reports for monthly committee meetings respectively; Develop, implement, and monitor support staff schedules to ensure proper coordination with provider schedules.

Provide direct clinical care to patients when needed. Provide triage services as needed. Attend all meetings and training sessions as required.

Immediately report any problems or unusual occurrences to the supervisor. Practice accepted infection control measures in accordance with the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards, and Center Policies and Procedures. Provide clinical in-service training on an ongoing basis to Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants.

Provide oversight to ensure and maintain patient flow to providers and efficient patient departure from the clinic. Provide oversight for the ordering of medical supplies and durable medical equipment. Coordinate delivery and tracking of pharmaceutical samples.

Provide health education and follow-up for patients regarding preventive and chronic care. Participate in collaborative initiatives to address health promotion and chronic care. Coordinate communication between the center and admitting ER and hospital centers.
