Provide direct psychiatric clinical services to a wide range of patients of all age groups in individual, family and couple psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, evaluation services to courts, state, tribal and social services entities, group therapy, behavior therapy and child and adolescent therapies
Serves as a resource for the hospital and department in development and training of staff in modern mental health care, issues, and concepts
Treat chronic mental illness and responsible for case management and rehabilitation of patients
Ensure mental health modalities and intervention are within the norms of standardized psychiatric care, individual's personal and cultural value system
Coordinates the development of standards of care, and monitors compliance with standards for prevalent conditions with the Service Unit; ie, substance abuse, depression, etc.
